The Adelaide Trundle Bed has a bold, traditional grillwork pattern that spreads out dramatically. Widely spaced metal bars spread across the bottom of both grills. Simple, but detailed, ball finials embellish the top of the posts to complete this piece. The multi-step finish -- textured brown and grey lightly sponged with a gold tint and a soft antiqued gold highlights casting, finials and feet -- gives the Adelaide added sophistication as well as a natural touch. This trundle bed includes the twin size headboard, footboard, link spring, and pop-up trundle. The trundle hides underneath the bed and holds an extra twin mattress. When you need a sleeping surface for a guest, the trundle pulls out, and can also raise to the height of the link spring, to create a king-size sleeping surface.
