The Frisco Trundle Bed is big and bold and makes a statement. It is an impressive combination of rich wooden posts and black metal grills. The headboard and footboard with their straight spindles, curves and flourishes look like inviting gates just waiting for someone to open them and come inside. Even though it has the old fashioned feel of the Barbary Coast, it can be dressed up in today’s most contemporary bed linens. The wood posts are finished in deep Maple and the metal grills are Matte Black – a one-step powder finish. Matching nightstands are also available in the same wood and metal finishes and features a glass top. This trundle bed includes the twin size headboard, footboard, link spring, and pop-up trundle. The trundle hides underneath the bed and holds an extra twin mattress. When you need a sleeping surface for a guest, the trundle pulls out, and can also raise to the height of the link spring, to create a king-size sleeping surface.
