The Rochester Trundle Bed is a classic metal bed with an antique design, enhanced by its vintage copper finish. The aged copper patina on the rails, spindles and posts, the brassy castings, and the blue-gray highlights tucked inside the crevices of the castings, make the bed look like it’s been hidden in grandma’s attic for years. It has five large spool-shaped castings, one in the center of the top rail and the other four along the posts, with many smaller castings where spindles connect to the rails. The footboard has two large casted feet which add the finishing touch to this understated, but very polished look from the past. This trundle bed includes the twin size headboard, footboard, link spring, and pop-up trundle. The trundle hides underneath the bed and holds an extra twin mattress. When you need a sleeping surface for a guest, the trundle pulls out, and can also raise to the height of the link spring, to create a king-size sleeping surface.
